Welcome and thank you so much for stopping by! Congratulations on your engagement! I am so excited for you both and am honored that you are considering me to capture one of the most important days of your lives. I'm Kate, East Coast Transplant, analog lover, and eternal optimist. By photographing with both film and digital mediums, I am able to capture all the important parts of your wedding day in a classic and timeless way. I believe that printed photographs are best, and that your legacy deserves to be beautifully preserved for generations to come.

After we determine that your date is available, we can meet up for coffee (or bubbly!) or have a video chat to talk about your wedding day. This is a great chance for you to tell me all about your wedding plans and to ask me any questions you have about my style, process, and timeline. If, after our meeting, we seem like the perfect fit, let’s get it on the books! After a 40% non-refundable payment, your date will be saved and we can start planning!
I work closely with my couples, their venue, and their planner to craft a timeline that will ensure we prioritize the images that are most important to you. I will help you decide when to start the ceremony to ensure the best light for portraits, when you should start hair and makeup to be ready in time for your first look and even decide what time you want to plan your big exit to ensure it's preserved for your wedding album.
On your wedding day I come to your getting ready location ready to be your photographer, train fluffer, groomsmen wrangler, and grandma helper. Think of me as bonus bridesmaid, there to help and support you throughout your day. Together we’ll document, celebrate, and enjoy your wedding day!
I love delivering a sneak peek gallery within just a few days. You will have a gallery of about 25 images to share with friends and family and on social media. Your final gallery of all your images will be delivered 8-10 weeks after your wedding. This will also be delivered in a digital gallery where you can download and share your images. You are also able to create your favorites list. I use this list to begin custom designing your wedding album. 6 weeks after we send off the design, you will have your heirloom album to treasure and share for generations to come.
Throughout the planning process I will send a bridal guide, a few questionnaires and some educational emails to help ensure that your day runs smoothly. Your complimentary engagement session is the perfect opportunity to not only create stunning images for your Save The Dates, but also to get comfortable in front of the camera and for you to see how I pose, guide and direct you into looking, and more importantly feeling, your best!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
how many images will we receive?
I typically deliver 75-100 images per hour of coverage. Both digital and film images will be delivered together in your online gallery within 8 weeks of your wedding. I remove all duplicates and any images where someone blinked or moved. I then edit the remainder and deliver the curated gallery to you.
Do we need a second shooter?
A second shooter is vital to a successful wedding day! There are so many details, moments, and moving parts to your day and I want to capture them all for you! My second shooter covers the portions of the day that happen concurrently with with bigger moments such as family formals and sunset romantics. They help me to be in 2 places at once, and I don't shoot any weddings without them.
Do we really need an engagement session?
are you insured, and how do you protect our images?
Your engagement session is complimentary, so it is completely up to you if you take advantage of it or not. That being said, I very highly recommend it! An engagement session is the perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to become comfortable with me, my posing style, and being in front of the camera. You also end up with gorgeous images to use for your Save the Dates, or custom wedding decor such as a photo guest book.
Yes! I carry liability insurance which I will happily provide proof of to your venue. I have back ups of all of my camera gear, so should anything happen to my main camera, I can continue shooting without any down time. My cameras have dual card slots, so your images are automatically backed up as soon as they are taken. Your images do not leave my person during a wedding day, and are safely backed up and transferred to my computer and external hard drives as soon as I return from your wedding.
